Ready to put some colour back into your face? Don't worry, I'm not referring to anything strenuous like exercise, I'm talking about the new Lancôme Cushion Blush Subtil

In Autumn, I like to keep my skin and makeup looking fresh and more importantly, hydrated. The cold weather and City air often drys out our skin so it's important to use makeup products that will work well for the colder months as well as great skin care (shout out to Murad).

The new Lancôme Cushion Blushers are the perfect product to keep your complexion looking bright and healthy during these dull, gloomy months. At first, I was a little intimidated - I had no idea where to start or how to apply them. What I did know is that they are well packaged, with sleek black casing and a cute colourful flower.

They come with a flat sponge/puff type applicator which fits over your fingers to give an easier application than I anticipated. The applicator picks up the perfect amount of product, which you then need to pat gently onto your cheeks. I like to apply my blush quite high and blend towards the hairline for a seamless look.

Another easy option, is using a sponge such as a damp Beauty Blender. Recently I've been reaching for this more and it really does work well with this Cushion type of product, blending it out nicely.
The product itself is very well pigmented with a vibrant colour range, so you don't need a lot to bring life to your face. You can see the swatches below, they have a excellent pay off.

The shade on the top is my favourite, Sorbet Grenadine, it's a bright deep coral pink tone which compliments my warm olive tones. The second shade is Rose Limonadeone which I think will suit a paler skin tone that mine. It's on the cooler side of things but it is still beautiful.

Those who love a fresh, dewy complexion will love these new launches from Lancôme. They would be gorgeous for no makeup days or if just need a tiny bit of help to bring some life back to your face. They're the type of product I use on days when I have a good amount of time to get ready, as they still make me a little nervous.
