Having recently started a course of antibiotics for my acne. I thought this would be a good opportunity to share my updated evening skincare routine as I've tried to simplify it as much as possible.

Living in the big smoke and wearing a full face of makeup daily means double cleansing is a must. My preference is always an oil based cleanser to remove makeup and dirt thoroughly. Previously I've used The Body Shop Camomile Balm which I really enjoyed and repurchased - but I finally decided it was time to upgrade. I love that it's gentle, unfragranced and removes everything in swoop.

Once I've removed all my makeup, it's time to clean my skin. This Murad cleanser is my favourite which is great for anti-aging and acne as it contains salicylic acid. If you have blemish prone skin, you'll want to add this to your collection. It's fresh on the skin and doesn't leave any dryness after.  

This concentrated blend of organic rosehip fruit and seed oil is the newest product in my collection. Perfection for my skin type, it restores balance to unpredictable and combination skin. I have been using it every evening before my moisturiser to help treat and restore. Applying 4 drops covers my skin evenly and I have really noticed a difference to my skin texture and plumpness in the morning.

A heavenly gel texture, a little goes a long way. It's lightweight texture adds a boost of hydration to my dehydrated skin. This one is a little pricey but luckily my sister gets discount - so I definitely made the most of it. A great alternative would be the Clinique Moisture Surge.

Narrowing down my nightly routine to 4 products is almost a miracle. Let me know if you'd like to see a post on my favourite face masks and morning skincare update.
