I was recently gifted some Vichy Dermablend products - a range that I have actually had my eye on for a little while now. The foundation has a great reputation in the beauty industry for covering imperfections, acne and scarring - a few problems that I have experienced first hand.

The first product I reached for was the Corrective Fluid Foundation in the shade Sand. (For reference I use Nars Punjab and L'Oreal True Match W3). Initially I thought it might be quite cakey due to the nature of the product, but I have to admit that I was really pleasantly surprised.

The foundation blends out beautiful to a light consistency. I chose to blend it out with my fingers and was really impressed with the texture. I have seen pro makeup artists use this foundation as a high coverage concealer as well as a foundation - great at covering any discolouration or redness.

The new formula SOS Coverage Stick is described as a high coverage foundation and that is one thing I can confirm it is! I would use this as a heavy duty concealer for extra coverage on days when pesky blemishes just won't go away. The stick is perfect the throw in your handbag for top ups on the go. Like the fluid foundation, I found blending it out with my fingers go the best natural finish whilst maintaining the coverage.

The Setting Powder I was really excited about as I haven't really used a loose powder before. The quality is lovely and doesn't sit on the skin or leave it looking dry. It just mattifies in all the right places to stop the shine appearing in the t-zone over the course of a day.

If you feel like you need a little extra coverage for any imperfections that is also recommended by dermatologists. This is the one for you - kind to the skin, but providing the long lasting coverage you need.
